Progress Update Works at the new Port Vila Lapetasi Multipurpose wharf is transforming what was once a sorry state of affairs at the country's main port of entry into potentially one of the busiest section of town. Contractors Toa Corporation of Japan are determined to complete the construction of the new international wharf by the deadline. So far up to 47% of the works have been completed. Since achieving 27% of the work progress last month, this month Toa Corporation have achieved 30%. Apart from the piling works, which are nearing completion, construction of the new administration building is gaining momentum as well, as highlighted in this month's edition of the monthly newsletter.
