Up to 49% of the works at Lapetasi has been completed.Despite few challenges, the project which includes a 200-metre wharf, a 40m x 20m warehouse, reefer container power tower, container wash bay, drains, an administration building and procurement of cargo handling equipment is taking shape. Progress Update Works at the new Port Vila Lapetasi Multipurpose wharf is transforming what was once a sorry state of affairs at the country's main port of entry into potentially one of the busiest section of town. Contractors Toa Corporation of Japan are determined to complete the construction of the new international wharf by the deadline. So far up to 47% of the works have been completed. Progress Update

Since achieving 27% of the work progress last month, this month Toa Corporation have achieved 30%. Apart from the piling works, which are nearing completion, construction of the new administration building is gaining momentum as well, as highlighted in this month's edition of the monthly newsletter.

Progress Update

The Port Vila International multi-purpose wharf construction continues to make excellent progress with the completion date of October 2017 well in sight. Japanese contractors, Toa Corporation are determined to complete the task. They have now achieved 27% of the work progress. More updates are available here through the monthly newsletter.
