Project Timeline

VISSP - Vanuatu Interisland Shipping Support Project. Commenced in 2012. Bidding for South Paray Domestic set to kick off soon, with construction expected to begin in the third quarter of 2021. Construction of the new South Paray Domestic Shipping Terminal, as part of the Vanuatu Inter-island Shipping Support Project (VISSP), was brought to a halt in 2018 when independent investigations, instigated by the government and its partners, identified design concerns and the requirement for more detailed site investigations. Those investigations have now been completed. Designs completed and independently reviewed to ensure the new structure meets international design standards. The pre-qualification tender was closed on 26th February 2021, seeking submissions from potential contractors with the qualifications and experience to undertake the construction works.  These submissions are currently under evaluation. 

VAIP - Vanuatu Aviation Investment Project - Completed and launched in 2019. Defects Liability Period has kicked in. Contractors have began preparations for repair of defects. Defects Liability period lapses in December 2021.

VEAP - Vanuatu Energy Access Project - Mobilization has commenced with advance team from MAP/Vortex arriving last March 2021. VEAP is set to be concluded in 2022.

VTIP - Vanuatu Tourism Infrastructure Project - Completed and handed over in 2017

PVUDP - Port Vila Urban Development Project - completed and handed over to employer - 2019

 

Lapetasi - Lapetasi International Multipurpose Wharf Project - completed and handed over in 2018
